I have some ideas that would increase the likihood of Apple accepting these apps. If you know anyone on the Electron team I’d love an introduction. My idea involves the integration of a security API for anti-phishing and malware to help increase the trust level of apps that use a WebView — we’ve been told by Apple employees that this would make a difference — but that was a while ago, not sure it still holds true.
